STATEMENT
I paint in Egg Tempera, the subject matter often the Human Figure but I have interests in Still Life and Landscape. I started painting in the Egg Tempera technique at the duCret School of the Arts when I purchased Robert Vickery’s book on the technique from Watson & Guptill. I like Egg Tempera over Oil because of the quick drying characteristics, good detailing and the ability to glaze colors. I’am also interested in drawing in Silverpoint, Goldpoint, pencil and pen & ink. I have interest in movement, change, atmosphere and detail.
